Audacy Beach Festival brings seaside performances to South Florida this Winter

 

Audacy Beach Festival will be taking place on December 4th and 5th in South Florida. Guests can enjoy this seaside music festival on the warm sandy beaches of Fort Lauderdale. The oceanside music festival will host an array of music styles from EDM, Indie, Alternative, and Pop Rock. The two-day music festival will feature live performances by national and international artists such as Glass Animals, The Lumineers, Bleachers, Swedish House Mafia, and more!

On the first day of the music festival, December 4th, music lovers can enjoy special performances by Twenty One Pilots, The Lumineers, Glass Animals, Modest Mouse, Bleachers, Willow and Beabadoobee. On the second festival date, Sunday, December 5th, the festival will celebrate a finale showcasing Weezer, Swedish House Mafia, AJR, Bastille, All Time Low, Yungblud, Walk the Moon, Cold War Kids, Tai Verdes, Mod Sun, Girl in Red and Nessa Barrett

 

THE LUMINEERS

Folk Rock group, The Lumineers, from Denver, Colorado will be performing at Audacy Beach Festival. They recently debuted their single, “Big Shot” from their latest EP. The artists performed their new track live on Jimmy Kimmel. The Lumineers have an enthralling stage presence. They uniquely convey storytelling through their songwriting process. SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA

Swedish House Mafia to return to South Florida at Audacy Beach festival! The trio has been coined to have “set the tone for the EDM boom of the early 2010s”. At Ultra’s 20th anniversary festival in Miami, the artists performed a surprise closing set. They had announced their return for a “Save the World Reunion Tour” in 2019. GLASS ANIMALS

Glass Animals formed in 2012, the UK band consists of four childhood friends. They released their debut album “Zaba” in 2014. The group has evolved their sound in different ways over the years, for example, from heavy psychedelic and atmospheric electronics, to obscure animal noises and strong R&B influences in “Zaba” to heavy drums, lots of lyrics and percussion-driven tracks in “How To Be A Human Being”. Their third and latest album “Dreamland” was released in the Summer of 2020. The album is an autobiographical take from Dave Bayley with textured lyrics, deep rhythms, and heavy hip hop influences.

This album features the track “Heat Waves” which took the world by storm, peaking at number 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums, number 2. on United Kingdom’s album chart, and number 7 in Billboard’s Hot 200. The band performs live instrumentation on stage and refuses to use a metronome. They cater each performance to their audience by speeding up the tempo to a song or playing a ambient sets. GIRL IN RED

‘girl in red’ is the musical project by 22-year-old artist, Marie Ulven, from Oslo, Norway. Ulven began producing music in 2014 which she released on YouTube. In 2018, she released “I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend,” providing her commercial popularity. Throughout the years, Ulven has delved into the pains of love and solitude. She released her first full-length studio album on April 30, 2021 titled “If I Could Make It Go Quiet.” The album touches on mental health, sexuality, and the struggles of a girl dealing with her own thoughts. Prior to the debut of this album, Ulven developed a following over the last few years from the debut of her singles on Spotify.
