FEIST

Indie-Pop singer-songwriter, Feist, joined Lord Huron for live performances in Austin, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, and Los Angeles, California this Fall. The artists performed at the Kia Forum on Sunday, November 2nd, in Los Angeles, California. Feist kicked off the concert with her classic tracks, ‘I Feel It All,’ and ‘My Moon My Man.’ Accompanied as a five-piece band, Feist performed on guitar and guitar pedals. The Los Angeles’ Dodgers won the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays the night before. Leslie Feist is from Toronto, Canada, and she shared she was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays but celebrated Dodgers’ win.

Feist joked, ‘I’m a Canadian take pity on me. This is the best I can do to recoup on how bad I feel.’ Feist mentioned that the two groups had performed in Phoenix, Arizona during the World Series and the audience had the score up during their concert while tensions were high. Feist encouraged the Los Angeles audience at the Kia Forum to heckle during her set. The audience chanted, ‘Let’s Go Dodgers,’ and she shouted back, ‘Let’s Go Blue Jays!’ She shared she was not a sore loser because she currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Her riveting live show enticed the crowd and they cheered and clapped.

Feist commented that it was a privilege to be invited to perform with Lord Huron on several shows. She sang melodies towards the end of her show to set the tone for Lord Huron’s upcoming show. Feist commented that the audience was going to experience an incredible show. She engaged with the audience and asked for the crowd who were fans of the Toronto Blue Jays to sing a part of the song’s chorus and the rest of the Dodger fans to sing another part of the song’s chorus. She ended the show with her 2009 track, ‘1234.’ For more information and upcoming shows, visit Feist’s website.

LORD HURON

Los Angeles Indie Rock group, Lord Huron, performed a hometown show at the Kia Forum. It was the first time the group was visiting and performing at the iconic venue. Lead singer, Ben Schneider, provided the audience with an introduction of the concert. He shared that the concert would be filled with new and familiar tunes. The group performed an emotional production of their song, ‘Wait by the River.’ The concert was a theatrical journey of a mysterious main character dressed in a dapper dark suit who encounters a female stranger, and they fall in love.

Ben Schneider expressed the group’s gratitude for their dedicated fan base and for the opportunity to perform a hometown show at the Kia Forum. He shared that one of their band members unfortunately was unable to join them for the show because he fell off a Segway and broke his wrist. The group’s album, ‘The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1’ was released earlier this Summer, on July 18th, 2025. Schneider shared that people ask them if there will be a ‘Volume 2.’

Ben Schneider continued to speak with the audience and mentioned that people may like to listen to music on different formats such as streaming, vinyl, cassette, or CD. He asked the audience for a favor if they could listen to their latest album, ‘The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1’, from front to back because it was meant to be listened to in its’ entirety. He shared this is due to meanings may be revealed when listening to them together. Schneider joked ‘To not listen to the album backwards because you may open a portal and things will come into your life that you don’t want to let in or maybe you do.’ Schneider’s request was for the audience to listen to the album and see where it took them.

Their live production was filled with stimulating visuals and surprises. Their dynamic and intricate stage props and background visuals caught the viewer’s attention. The storyline of the two main characters drew the viewers into a standing theme of the concert which seemed to be finding and holding onto a long-lost love. The main characters danced, played on piano, and engaged in solo performances. This must-see tour is beautiful, romantic, and compelling.
