Miami’s First HomeGrown Festival
Homebrewing, craft beers and beer festivals are quickly becoming the next best thing in south Florida. HomeGrown is the first indoor festival in Miami that will be featuring the finest local food, music, art and beer! The event will take place at the Watsco Center at the University of Miami on September 23rd from 12:00-8:00PM; tickets are $25 and kids 12 and under are free.
Bites will feature vendors like Mad Love, Mango Mania, Latin House, Deco Coffee and more! To go along with the tasty food and notable beer will be some great live music.
Headlining is Kat Dahlia, a Miami beach native known for her Latin pop and R&B vibes followed by some of my local favorites- Problem Kids, Keith Johns, SunGhosts and many others.
Calling all of Miami’s beer geeks and local artist supporters! HomeGrown will be offering beer samples from Wynwood Brewing Company, Veza Sur, Funky Buddha, Concrete Beach Brewery, MIA Beer Company, and The Tank. These breweries have really made an impact in the area over the last few years and I’m ecstatic to have them all in one place!
The event will be supporting more than everything 305 related; in support of September being the National Childhood Cancer Awareness month, proceeds will go towards “Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation.”
