Ohio says Goodbye to Warped Tour

On July 19th at 11am the crowd began to pile into the PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati, Ohio for the well known cross country tour known as The Vans Warped Tour. I started off the show by enjoying the Canadian rock group Simple Plan.

"I'm Just A Kid" legends amp'd the crowd up by opening their set with "I'd Do Anything", later in their set, Pierre the vocalist grabbed a water gun from side stage and cooled of the crowd!

After Simple Plan, I caught Massachusetts four-piece Four Year Strong.

As soon as the Post-Hardcore band walked on stage, the crowd went insane, cheering from every direction!

Crowd Surfers came in on the first song, you can always tell a good band just by the crowd surfers! Amity Affliction and Crown The Empire were up next! Amity Affliction the Australian Metalcore band killed it. With Joel's screams, and Ahren's singing, they are full of talent!

Dallas, Texas' metal group Crown The Empire put on a great show as well. Their vocalist Andrew Velasquez has so much energy and movement on stage, they're definitely fun to watch, let alone photograph them!

As this being the final year for The Vans Warped Tour last cross country tour, it is a little heart breaking. A festival that a lot of us looked forward to every summer, is coming to an end. So many friends, and memories were made because of the tour. I am thankful that I was able to photograph it. I am anxious to see what they do next year for their 25th anniversary.
