Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Bon Jovi fills the Amway Arena in Orlando with his This House is Not for Sale tour
It is no wonder why Bon Jovi will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this April. Since 1983, Bon Jovi has sold over 130 million albums and has performed over 2,800 shows in 50 countries for over 35 million fans. The raw talent paired with a long history of performances made for an unforgettable night. With the re-release of “This House is Not for Sale,” Bon Jovi is celebrating with a multi-leg, multi-national tour. Bon Jovi fans of all ages packed the Amway Arena in Orlando on Wednesday night for Bon Jovi’s “This House is Not for Sale” tour.
The night began with local band Kings County. Beginning as a local in-house band in Orlando, Kings County was able to kick off the night due to a contest held by Live Nation. Their passion for preforming was clear to everyone in attendance. With their high energy and party rock sound, it was clear why they were chosen as the opening act. Kings County brought a performance that proved they were the best of the best in Orlando.
With the Amway Center completely packed with life long fans of Bon Jovi, the excitement before the show was electric. Concert goers could be overheard talking about whether this was their first Bon Jovi show or their 51st. Regardless of how many shows they had seen, the passion this crowd had for Bon Jovi was greater than any other artist I have seen before.
Opening with “This House is Not for Sale”, it became apparently immediately that Bon Jovi was going to give 110% throughout the entire show. If Jon Bon Jovi’s energy could be harnessed, it could power the entire Amway Arena for the rest of 2018. At the age of 56, Jon Bon Jovi preformed with a passion that could rival any performer in their 20’s.
Bon Jovi’s set, an impressive 21 songs long, was the perfect mix of songs from their career including classics like Livin’ on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or a Alive, and You Give Love a Bad Name. Jon even went into the audience for a couple songs in the middle of the set to seranade fans and stopped to take pictures with others long the way.
