Toothgrinder, Trivium and Bullet for my Valentine

For some people it was a usual Tuesday night, but for us it was a night that we have been waiting for a long time! A show that combined the New Jersey based Toothgrinder along with Trivium and, of course, the one and only, Bullet For My Valentine! Yes, you heard right! All these bands got together for this unbelievable show at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey. And we didn’t expect anything less than what we witnessed; metal vibes, numerous mosh pits and these three amazing bands rocking this night out!

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE

TOOTHGRINDER

Toothgrinder was on stage a little after 8pm and the venue was already on fire. These guys have been in the music scene for about 8 years now and they know well enough how to start a fire… a metal fire!

Matt Heafy and his Trivium mates came up next and that was the time where it all started to take off. With “Until the world goes cold” and “Strife” the crowd went nuts. Once we heard the first notes of the “Pull harder on the strings of your martyr” it was the time when no one expected that they would play this song and some of us lost our voices from singing out loud!

Lastly and finally the time we were all waiting for… Bullet for my Valentine! It had been a while since I personally last saw them back in Europe and I knew what was coming! With 13 years of experience in the music industry, they never disappoint.  Strong set list covering songs from the past like “Scream. Aim. Fire” as well as “Over it” from the band’s sixth studio album “Gravity”, the Welsh metallers remain as impressive and relative as ever! Till the next time .
