City On Down EP Release

A local’s favorite, City On Down, just released their EP “Used To Be Young” and played a nearing sold-out show at The Music Farm on the release date! They were joined by Haley Mae Campbell, Cole Collins and 87 Nights. The crowd only grew larger as each act played and got more excited in anticipation of City On Down taking the stage!

Another Charleston artist, Cole Collins opened the show with a high-energy and crowd engaging performance. His unique alternative-rock sound combined with powerful lyrics made for a great start to the night.

HALEY MAE CAMPBELL

Pop-Country artist Haley Mae Campbell took the stage next. A native to Charleston as well, now based out of Nashville, this young singer gives a performance far beyond her years. With powerful vocals and original songs, she is uniquely herself and you see that throughout her performance. Campbell also has a happiness to be on the stage sharing her music and that happiness is infectious to the audience.

87 NIGHTS

With yet another Charleston talent, rock band 87 Nights continued the energy with a killer performance. The group is emerging in Charleston, but quickly gaining a fan base and you could see that as the crowd members loved every second of their performance!

CITY ON DOWN

The crowd got even more hype as City On Down finally took the stage! The group has so much energy and passion to be performing their music. They of course played new songs off of their EP, my favorites being “All On You” and “On My Way.” They also performed some covers, one being “Mr. Brightside” which included a quick costume change for some band members. That song is of course always a crowd favorite! They shared stories about their music, their journey and showed so much appreciation for everyone joining them to celebrate the EP release.

This show was quite the memorable one. So many talented Charleston musicians shared the stage and gave incredible performances. City On Down is rapidly growing, performing numerous shows and of course releasing new music.  Go check out “Used To Be Young” on various music platforms and keep your eye on City On Down!
