Kero Kero Bonito kicked off their American tour at Nashville’s music venue, The Basement East. There was an extensive line of local students and teenagers outside of the venue waiting to enter the venue. The supporter for the tour was Los Angeles writer, Lindsey French, whose stage moniker is Negative Gemini. She performed a solo set of electronic melodies while singing and performing samples of guitars and keyboards.

Kero Kero Bonito’s live performance was highly energetic to the point where several mosh pits broke out throughout their set. Lead singer, Sarah Bonito, jumped around the stage while singing and playing her instrument, a Korg synthesizer. During the performance of their track, “Flamingo,” Bonito brought out a plush flamingo and started performing a flamingo dance.

After their set ended, Kero Kero Bonito returned to the stage to perform an encore that consisted of a hyped-up cover of the track, “Vertigo” by U2, and ended their show with the track, “Trampoline.”
