Keshi's HELL/HEAVEN TOUR

REI BROWN

Rei Brown, New York-based, Japanese-American producer and artist whose music shows hints of indie pop, alternative electronic and lo-fi R&B. Brown’s first self released EP, ‘raybaboon’ came out in 2014. On SoundCloud “raybaboon” has +28M collective streams to date. Formally switching monikers in 2016, he’s released a number of breakout projects as Rei Brown, including the 2016 EP ‘Lungs,’ the 2017 double-single “i feel so cold” and the two-part ‘Lovers’ EP series. He’s also collaborated on projects with childhood friend, Joji, under the alias of ‘Green Echo’ and ‘Rei Brown’. We got the pleasure to hear a preview of their latest collaboration at Revolution Live as well; where Brown opened for Keshi on May 14th, 2022, along with a preview of 2 other songs Brown has in the works. As his usual style he was on stage with his macbook adjusting his line up as he went on feeling out the vibe of the crowd, not disappointing in the least, fans were going crazy to old songs and new. Hyping fans about his latest album due to drop soon, Brown ended with words of love and appreciation for the fans.

KESHI

Keshi, a singer, songwriter, record producer and instrumentalist from Houston, Texas comes from Vietnamese descent. Adopted his stage name "Keshi", which was originally just a nickname, from his childhood girlfriend's parents. He began to share his work via his SoundCloud page around 2017. Signed with island records in 2019, Keshi has since released his second extended play and major-label debut, Skeletons, which became the first of three extended plays: part of the Trilogy compilation album. His debut studio album, Gabriel was released on March 25th, 2022. Bringing the Hell/Heaven tour to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale May 14th, 2022. It was the third stop of the North American leg of his Hell/Heaven Tour, which sold out completely on both sides of the Atlantic. Upon arrival security told us fans had been lined up outside as early as 9am in anticipation for the night. Although his setlist focused heavily on his debut album- Gabriel, Keshi didn't forget fan favorites off his four prior EPs, with tracks like “Talk,” “Like I Need U,” “Drunk,” and “Right Here" peppered throughout. Fans sang along not missing a beat all night belting out together, raising phone lights and waving in sync at times. Keshi even brought out his electric guitar to accompany the melancholy mood that made the crowd rave.
