Ruth Radelet and STRFKR's SoCal Tour Finale at The Glass House Pomona

Ruth Radelet and STRKFR toured this Fall in October from Washington to California. Their West Coast Fall tour finale took place at their sold-out show at The Glass House in Pomona, California.

RUTH RADELET

Singer-Songwriter, Ruth Radelet, and supporting band opened the show at The Glass House. Radelet debuted tracks from her solo EP, ‘The Other Side’ along with a mixture of cover songs. The radiant lighting transitioned beautifully with the song performances. She wore a beautiful soft blue flowy dress. Radelet mentioned to the audience it was her return to The Glass House stage in a long time.

She was formerly part of the Electronic Rock group, Chromatics, on Italians Do It Better record label. During the performance, the audience listened attentively to the bewitching melodies and the singer's charming vocals. For more information and upcoming tour dates, visit ruthradelet.com.

STRFKR

At the time of STRFKR’s set, the venue was filled with music fans eager to watch the band’s live performance. STRFKR had performed the previous day at the Fields of Funk music festival in Santa Barbara, California. The group kicked-off their Pomona show with the track ‘Second Hand’ from their album, ‘Future Past Life,’ which they released on April 10th, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. STRFKR surprised audience members during their set by welcoming special guests on stage, dancing astronauts, and also with explosions of confetti that fell unto the audience.

STRFKR’s live shows bring a smile and a joy to their audience, which is one of the reasons they have a devoted fanbase. Their evocative lyrics resonate with their listeners and their engaging live performances bring an escape to mundane everyday life. During the duration of their dazzling shows, concert-goers are transported into a musical fantasy world with playful entertainers and fun-filled dance music. Even during the deeper ambient tracks, the viewers are glued attentively to the stage watching the performers play skillfully upon their instruments.

STRFKR performed an arrangement of tracks from their discography. They debuted their most recent single release, ‘Always / Never’, which was released two weeks ago. They performed fan favorites such as ‘Malmo,’ ‘While I’m Alive,’ ‘Open Your Eyes,’ and more! The audience sang along to their cover of ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ as one of the astronauts crowd surfed. They ended their show with an encore performance of ‘Isabella of Castile’ and ‘Bury Us Alive.’ After the concert, the band signed posters and took pictures with their fans.
