Whethan's Future Electronica

Bright lights and lush sounds beamed from the city of Anaheim in Southern California as EDM artists Syence and Whethan showcased their EDM music through a drive-in experience. Nederlander Live Concerts hosted the electronic rave at the City National Grove of Anaheim, California. Guests adorned their colorful Summer music festival outfits at the social distanced event. They danced in their onesies, with inflatable objects, and performed their own mini light shows from their parking space.

Originally from Chicago and now a Los Angeles resident, Whethan, headlined the Drive-In experience with his latest album, ‘Fantasy,' and collaboration tracks in Orange County. Known by his artist name, ‘Whethan,’ innovative music producer Ethan Snorek has curated the future for electronic music and young musical producers. He obtained notoriety from his debut remix of Mssingo’s track, ‘XE3’ in December 2018, which reached over 13 million plays.

At an early age, Snorek pursued his musical ambitions by experimenting with Garage Band mixes on his iPad and rapping with his childhood friends. He was inspired by EDM artists such as Skrillex which engaged him in his work. He was recognized as the youngest music producer to release a record on the Australian EDM Label, Future Classic.

He has collaborated with an array of hip hop and indie artists such as K.Flay, Oliver Tree, The Knocks, Dua Lipa, The Wombats, and more. He is creating an avenue for emerging artists and notable artists to explore and experiment with electronic sounds and dance music through music collaborations. His musical vision is the sound of the future for combining diverse music genres. His fans can discover underground and well-known artists through electronica music projects.

Whethan will be performing at the Lake Brownies Leomade weekend festival at Lake Havasu. The three day music festival will feature various electronic artists at the Nautical Beachfront Resort in Lake Havasu City from August 27th through 29th.
