The Ultimate French Fry Celebration Is Coming to Los Angeles on July 11th

Fry lovers, this one's for you. The inaugural Los Angeles French Fry Festival is set to make its delicious debut on Saturday, July 11, transforming The Autry Museum in Griffith Park into the ultimate destination for everything crispy, golden, and potato inspired.

Presented by Bucket Listers and Street Food Cinema, with support from Lamb Weston and Natalie's Juice, the one-day festival celebrates one of the world's most beloved comfort foods with an unforgettable lineup of vendors, entertainment, and interactive experiences.

Guests can indulge in an impressive variety of fry creations, including classic shoestring fries, waffle fries, curly fries, tornado potatoes, potato wedges, poutine, sweet potato fries, Cajun fries, beef tallow fries, and other inventive potato dishes. Whether you're a traditional ketchup fan or enjoy bold flavors, there will be something to satisfy every craving.

One of the festival's biggest attractions is Sauce City, an interactive sauce bar where visitors can customize their fries with an extensive selection of dipping sauces. Favorites like classic ketchup, garlic parmesan, and truffle aioli will be joined by spicy honey mustard, chili cheese, sriracha-infused blends, and exclusive specialty sauces created just for the event.

The festival experience extends far beyond the food. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a packed schedule of live entertainment and family-friendly activities, including a French fry eating contest, blindfold fry-tasting challenges, cooking demonstrations featuring a surprise celebrity chef, curated French fry flights, shareable fry buckets, and even dessert-inspired potato creations.

Food enthusiasts can also sample offerings from some of Southern California's favorite food vendors, including:

  • College Boy

  • The Chick Truck

  • Dave's Hot Chicken

  • Fried Out

  • Frites Freak

  • Fry Day

  • Frylicious

  • La Mochila City

  • Marathon Burger

  • Proudly Serving

  • Sunset Smash

Those with a sweet tooth won't be left out, with dessert vendors including Happy Ice, Kobbler King, The Churro Man, and The Jolly Sheep Cotton Candy serving frozen treats and festival favorites.

"The Los Angeles French Fry Festival is exactly the kind of playful, over-the-top food experience that Bucket Listers loves bringing to life," said Derek Berry, President of Experiences at Bucket Listers. "French fries are universally loved and endlessly creative — and this festival is designed to celebrate every form of fry imaginable while creating a high-energy summer experience that people will remember for years to come."

Heather Hope-Allison, co-founder and producer of TIL Events and Street Food Cinema, says the event is a natural extension of years spent producing community food experiences throughout Los Angeles.

"After producing hundreds of Street Food Cinema events for more than a decade in Los Angeles, it's a natural evolution for us to present a foodie-centric festival celebrating the delicious world of french fries. As street food curators, we know fries are one of the most popular, versatile, and shareable foods out there. It's the perfect way to bring foodies and the community together."

The Los Angeles French Fry Festival will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Autry Museum in Griffith Park. The all-ages event offers General Admission and VIP ticket options for individuals and groups, with admission available during three timed entry windows: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Children ages three and older require a ticket.

Tickets start at $22, making it one of the most affordable food festivals of the summer for families, foodies, and anyone looking to celebrate their love of French fries.
