KAABOO Del Mar Brings Throwback Tunes to the Trestles Stage
For the fourth year running, KAABOO Del Mar had once again curated a stellar lineup of musical talent. Ranging from current hits to past idols, the California festival’s first sold out status attests to great taste in music both new and old. With legendary powerhouses including The Zombies, Tower of Power, Blondie, and The English Beat, Friday at the Trestles stage was clearly throwback heaven for ska, rock, pop, and soul music fans alike. The ability to draw in both a young and older seasoned audience is just one of the beauties of the KAABOO’s daily artist roster. While it may have been difficult to pull a throwback fan away from the barricade at Trestles, with modern superstars like Post Malone and Gucci Mane only one stage away, there was indeed something for everyone to enjoy.
