Top Chart Artist, Bad Bunny performs 'Un Verano Sin Ti' sold-out concert dates and debuts Miami restaurant during his South Florida tour

 

Bad Bunny is taking the world by the bunny ears. The Latin Grammy Award winner and muli-talented artist whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio has displayed how the ‘American dream’ is attainable with passion and hard work. From Puerto Rico, Ocasio began producing his music at an early age. He released his debut album, ‘El Conejo Malo’ in 2017, in which he collaborated with artists such as Farruko. From working as a bagger at a grocery store, Ocasio is now an award-winning world-renowned international artist that has ventured into acting, video game producer, and restauranteur. His latest album, ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ has been on the Billboard charts at number 1 for eight weeks.

Bad Bunny has ventured in the food industry and opened a new restaurant, ‘Gekkō,’, with Groot Hospitality in South Florida. The restaurant is an Asian fusion steakhouse and lounge in Brickell, Florida. He has collaborated with artists Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Drake, and more! He performed at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in Miami, Florida.

Bad Bunny is the first Latin artist to be Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the year and has reached on the top of the song charts. He was the part of most streamed artists international and national artists on Spotify.

The Billboard and Grammy artist has received an array of awards such as ‘Best Latin Pop or Urban Album,’ ‘Songwriter of the Year,’ ‘Top Latin Album of the Year,’ ‘Hot Latin Song of the Year,’ ‘Favorite Male Latin Artist,’ ‘Artist of the Year,’ and more!

Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour del Mundo and Un Verano Sin Ti 2022 tour sold-out. His El Último Tour del Mundo was the highest-selling post-pandemic event and the top-selling tour since 2018.

August was a busy month for Bad Bunny with tour dates, restaurant premieres, and movie release dates. He sold-out two concert dates during his South Florida tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Friday, August 12th and Saturday, August 13th. The dates coincided with the debut of his new restaurant which opened on Thursday, August 11th. Earlier in the month, his movie debut in ‘Bullet Train’ with Brad Pitt released on August 1st in which he played a villain.

On Friday’s concert date in Miami, cars lined up for miles to enter into the venue and in neighboring parking lots. Young music fans jumped out of their Uber rides in traffic and walked several miles to the venue. Music lovers rented party buses and limos to arrive in style to the concert. As the patrons lined up and entered the venues, they quickly crowded around the merch booth to purchase exclusive tour merchandise. After they went to their assigned seating to experience live sets by artists such as Alesso and Diplo. As the blistering Miami heat intensified throughout the night, the audience were hyped and eager for Bad Bunny’s concert to begin. The audience were in an uproar at each moment of a possible cue of start time such as lights being tested, the stage being setup, and venue song transitions.

Bad Bunny began the show shortly after 9pm and performed almost a two-and-a-half-hour set. He kicked off his concert with popular tracks such as ‘Moscow Mule.’ Audience members stood on their seats to be at level of the stage to experience the show. The audience continue to scream and shout during Bad Bunny’s banter and when he would perform their favorite songs. He performed various tracks from his discography. Music fans that attended the show dressed up in their bunny ears or appeared like doppelgangers of the outfit.
