LA LOM Southern California Tour
LA LOM are currently on their United States and European Tour. The band’s name is an abbreviation for The Los Angeles League of Musicians. The trio informed in Los Angeles, California which they performed locally at venues such as the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The artists began their musical journey by experimenting with their music during their live performances. Their music blends the genres of instrumental Rock, Cumbia, Jazz, and Latin American rhythms.
LA LOM recorded a new album which they debuted songs from. They performed at the Wiltern in June and will perform at the Hollywood Bowl in July. During their concert at the Wiltern, they performed various songs from their discography. They informed the audience that their song titles are inspired by street names and places in Los Angeles, for example: ‘Sante Fe Springs’ and ‘Santee Alley.’ Singer, Zac Sokolow, shared that the track, ‘The Ghost of Gardenia,’ was a song from a place he used to live. They performed a love song to Los Angeles, ‘Angels Point,’ which Sokolow mentioned was a beautiful viewpoint of Los Angeles.
LA LOM debuted their self-titled album in 2024 and have grown a cult musical following. During the time of their performance at the Wiltern, the L.A. protests were occurring, and they shared that they were proud that Los Angeles residents were standing up for their local community. LA LOM featured special posters for that night only and the proceeds from the purchases of the posters were contributed to the ICE detainees’ legal fees.
