South Florida rapper Pouya's "Blood Was Never Thick As Water" tour

Miami-based rapper, Pouya, took over Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on December 18th as part of his last stop on his “Blood Was Never Thick As Water” tour. He was joined by Jasiah, Kxllswtch, Lu Baby and had guest performances by Boobie Lootaveli and DJ Scheme.

Pouya had previously worked with all of the artists on the lineup. Lu Baby was featured on “Walk In” in Pouya’s “Blood Was Never Thick As Water’” album which was released in October 2021. Kxllswxtch was featured on “Burn,” which was released in July 2021. In addition, Pouya was featured on Jasiah’s ‘Zit’ on his full-length album, “War.”

The energy was already through the roof as Jasiah took the stage wearing Drxp Clothing and all the excitement. He ran on the stage, headbanged to every song, jumped into the crowd, and even did a front flip on stage. At one point he joined the crowd and asked them to sit around him and sing the “Campfire Song Song” by Spongebob Squarepants. Jasiah then stage dove into the crowd and moshed during the majority of Pouya’s set.

Pouya strolled on stage wearing an “RIP Dj Screw” shirt and opened with a crowd favorite, “Suicidal Thoughts in the Back of the Cadilac” then followed by “Superman is Dead.” Pouya paused his set to toss waters into the crowd and made sure to reiterate that if anyone that fell during a mosh pit would be helped back up. He also took a moment to shout out his mother, grandmother, sister, and other family members who were watching from the VIP section. His sister sang along to all his songs and his grandmother was recording the show. Pouya released a new EP titled “dirt/hurt/pain” which featured Baker Ya Maker, Lu Bab, and Maika. He hinted a full-length album in the future.
