Teenage Bottlerocket Takes over the Oriental Theater

Midweek shows can be tough to pack, especially on a snowy damp day. But this was no object for Teenage Bottlerocket, with support from Nothington, Pitch Invasion, and Over Time. With two local bands (Over Time and Pitch Invasion), and two touring bands, the Oriental was packed with fans new and old, with a lively pit, a few spilled beers, and an audience that spanned three generations. Laramie, WY based Teenage Bottlerocket always makes for an amazing night, and Thursday night was no exception. An unexpected perk was Teenage Bottlerocket frontman Ray Carlisle’s son Milo hitting the stage with an impressive drum solo to kick the headlining act off. Though he was hard to see behind the full size drum kit, Milo’s drum skills and stage presence are large enough to fill a venue.
