The Living End -- Aussie Invasion

Melbourne, Victoria (AUS) based punk legends, The Living End, are back in the USA, delivering gritty sounds, explosive energy, and driving beats. While on the tail end of their tour, we caught up with them in Denver, CO, playing The Marquis Theater. This small, intimate venue was filled near capacity; the low stage, lack of a barrier, and full venue brought back memories from the birth of punk, and made the show a truly fantastic experience -- a conversation and sharing of music and energy as opposed to simply watching a show. With Chris Cheney's forceful lyrics, backed by the driving beat of Andy Strachan on the drums, this energetic three-piece finishes out with Scott Owen on the double-bass.
