The Smashing Pumpkins to bring a brand new music festival, 'The World Is A Vampire', to Mexico City

The Smashing Pumpkins were on recently tour with Poppy and Jane’s Addiction during their ‘Spirits On Fire Tour’. The artists performed to Southern California audiences at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Billy Corgan shared insights the band’s iconic music history. He mentioned they had performed at The Honda Center in their early years of their career and at that show, he was informed of his mother’s death. They performed various tracks from his discography such as ‘1979’, ‘'Ava Adore', and ‘Tonight, Tonight’.

This year, The Smashing Pumpkins released the first part of a three-part opera album, ‘ATUM.’ They also released double-sided albums for ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ and ‘Machina/Machines of God.’

The Smashing Pumpkins will be hosting ‘The World Is A Vampire’ from March 6th to 9th in Mexico City. The festival will be headlined by Interpol, Turnstile, Peter Hook & the Light, and more!
