Signs of Light, The Head and The Heart

The Head and The Heart graced the Fillmore in Miami Beach, Florida for their eminent return to the stage. During the celestial evening, music lovers enjoyed whimsical melodies and dazzling performances from the Indie Folk group. The audience sang along to tracks from the group's self titled album, Let's Be Still, and Signs of Light. The high-spirited group toured to South Florida during the sensational release of "Let's Be Still" in 2016. They delighted the audience with their frequent engagement and spectacular performances.

A Seattle native, Matt Gervais, recounted a childhood memory of meeting his music idol, Chris Cornell, in the basement of his parent's home. He saw the artist with his friend's looking at a motorcycle that his neighbor was selling. Matt and his friends rushed to his parent's home and practiced loudly. Shortly after, Chris Cornell appeared in his parent's basement and watched them finished their set. He playfully commented to the young musicians, "Don't you think you're playing it too fast." The group paid tribute to Chris Cornell by performing one of his songs, "I Am the Highway."

Their inspiring camaraderie and musical chemistry is apparent during their live performances. The wholesome musicians convey insightful reflection in their narrative songs. Their perseverance and graciousness are signs of remarkable musicians. For more information about the Head and Heart visit www.theheadandtheheart.com and for upcoming tour dates, visit www.theheadandtheheart.com/tour.
