Travis live in Los Angeles at The Wiltern during their 2025 Tour 'Raze the Bar'
Travis kicked off their ‘Raze the Bar’ tour at the Wiltern on Los Angeles, California. The show took place shortly after the Los Angeles fires which impacted the cities of Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, and Altadena. The group lightened up the mood of the audience with a joyful and uplifted live performance. The band opened the show with noteworthy tracks, ‘Driftwood,’ and ‘Love Will Come Through,’ which the audience sang along to.
The band performed a collection of their songs from their discography, ‘The Invisible Band,’ and their most recent release, ‘L.A. Times.’ Lead singer, Fran Healy, provided a background on the songs performed throughout the night. Their track, ‘Re-Offender,’ was inspired by his personal experience of his mother being in a relationship with his father who caused her physical harm. ‘Raze the Bar’ was inspired by a New York City music venue that they had found memories of called ‘Black and White’ bar, which unfortunately closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Travis’ show had entrancing visuals on a white backdrop that was filled with bold colors to ocean waves which paired perfectly with each song performance. They ended the night with a cover song melody by Britney Spears ‘Baby One More Time,’ and their iconic tracks, ‘Flowers in the Window’ and ‘Why Does It Always Rain on Me?’
