A vintage-inspired living room set playing classic films created the perfect backdrop for fans to relax, take photos, and fully immerse themselves in the nostalgic atmosphere. Outside, a Criterion Collection van attracted a long line of movie lovers eager to discover what cinematic treasures were waiting inside.

The Hollywood Bowl store also celebrated the weekend with exclusive Wes Anderson merchandise, including shirts, posters, books, and collectibles for fans looking to bring home a piece of the experience.

 

Jason Schwartzman Shares a Rushmore Memory

During a transition between performances, Jason Schwartzman entertained the audience with a personal story about his first collaboration with Wes Anderson on Rushmore.

Schwartzman recalled Anderson asking him to join the film and giving him a cassette tape featuring the movie’s soundtrack. While visiting his mother, actress Talia Shire, Schwartzman remembered seeing the cassette tape on the floor while tying his shoe. He brought the tape onstage and playfully threw it into the crowd, where one lucky audience member caught and kept the piece of Wes Anderson history.
