Chvrches Screen Violence Tour at Revolution Live

FAN CLUB WALLET

Opening act Fan Club Wallet took the stage to a full house. Their cartoonish yet chilled indie pop songs were all well received. The room was very engaged and the vibe was fun and upbeat. The audience danced along to the tunes as the band rocked gracefully through their set.

CHVRCHES

Headliner Chvrches walked onto the stage one by one and the room went wild. Exploding into cheers as the band got to their respective places, and grew even louder as Lauren Mayberry approached the mic. The excitement was contagious and carried throughout the room. The colorful lights beamed and the vitality grew more and more from one song to the next. The synths, new wave guitar and drums roared. Lauren Mayberry’s infectious voice pierced the air, with such power that it was hard not to sing along. Her presence echoed as she sang crowd favorites.

Mayberry was sprightly, throwing her hair around, dancing and spinning playfully. Throughout the set Lauren would leave the stage to change in and out of a few different outfits. Each time coming back with an even greater presence. The band was tight and impeccable, performing flawless reproductions of their album tracks. It sounded as if they were cutting a record right in front of the raving audience.

The encore left the fans buzzing. Ending the show with “The Mother We Share” and “Clearest Blue.”A great closer to an incredible show and performance. I’m sure fans blared their favorite Chvrches songs as they drove home, singing along with the windows down. What a nice cap to the Tuesday night.
