DIY New York Noise Pop artist, Mothra Stewart, reflects on escaping suburbia with "The P.T.A." debut

New York based Noise Pop artist, Mothra Stewart, has released his new single, “The P.T.A,” accompanied with an experimental music video on Green Witch Recordings. The dreamy introduction of “The P.T.A.” begins with a landscape of airy soft vibrating melodies. The song then transcends into a blend of roaring vocals with an abundance of noise rock riffs phased in. The singer-songwriter behind Mothra Stewart’s latest release, Marc LeFebvre, describes the debut track, "The P.T.A. is about the slow death of the unexamined life; the monotonous drudgery of suburban boredom; churches, shopping malls, community colleges, car dealerships, and the vein of conformity that runs through small town America. That's not to say that there isn't value to the perspective of millions of Americans living that life, but this track is about the youthful angst and drive to get out, to do something different, and go beyond the narrow minded collective thinking that so often infects the suburban mindset. I also feel the music video reflects this societal theme."

Singer-songwriter, Marc LeFebvre, who is originally from Austin, Texas relocated to New York City to pursue his musical career. Along with creating his own music for Mothra Stewart, LeFebvre also produces musicians under his New York based record label, Green Witch Recordings. LeFebvre utilizes his artistic ventures to write and record his own music while also having the opportunity to release music of fellow musicians through various formats under his independent label. The DIY record label supports the release of independent artists with genres varying from Lo-Fi, Shoegaze, Post-Punk, Alternative, and more.
