Some concert lineups feel almost too perfect to be real. For me, seeing Tame Impala and Djo share the same stage was one of those moments. Between photographing the first night and returning as a fan for the second, I experienced the Deadbeat Tour from two completely different perspectives—and both nights proved why these are two of the most exciting live acts touring today.

He stepped away from the band in 2017 to focus on his breakout role in Stranger Things, and soon after began releasing music under the moniker Djo (pronounced Joe). The Another Bite Tour is the second Djo tour that features Post Animal as the opener, and luckily, Asheville found itself as one of the stops.
