From touring with Twenty One Pilots on the Bandito tour, to announcing his album and tour, Gold Rush, Max Frost has had a busy year. This is not new to Frost. In 2013, he began releasing music on Soundcloud. He decided that he wanted to pursue music as a career, so he left school. Tragically, his guitar and hard drive with all of his music were stolen. This led to him losing motivation, until his song “White Lies” began blowing up on Soundcloud. Atlantic Records found him through this track, and the rest is history.

Cage the Elephant is a Rock band from Bowling Green, Kentucky. The band formed in 2006 and began releasing music after being signed to Relentless Records. They soon released their debut, self titled album. Tame Impala: Summer Tour and SoundBite’s Top Five Tracks

Psychedelic group, Tame Impala from Perth, Australia was created by frontman Kevin Parker in 2007. Kevin Parker produces, writes, and arranges most of the group’s songs himself. He posted a few tracks onto MySpace and was noticed by several record labels. Soon, he added touring musicians to the group to help with live shows. They went on to release their debut self titled EP which earned a number one spot on the Australian Independent Record Labels’ chart.

Public: Your New Favorite Band

Public is a three piece band based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The band consists of lead singer- John Vaughan, bassist- Matt Alvarado, and drummer- Ben Lapps. They met in high school, and went on to release their first EP titled Red in June of 2012. Afterwards they opened for acts like Neon Trees, Walk the Moon, Jesse McCartney, and Twenty One Pilots. After the release of their latest EP, Sweet Lemonade, they went on the Sweet Lemonade tour, which consisted of dates all across the US. In 2018, they released the song “One That I Want” along with a music video.

Following this album release, he announced a tour which is set to travel through the United States and Europe. During the first week of this tour, Hozier visited Charlotte, North Carolina. This show was not only special because it was St. Patrick’s Day, it was also the singer’s 29th birthday.

A Night of Dancing With Walk the Moon

On one of the final nights of their winter tour, Walk The Moon performed at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. Walk The Moon has performed at the venue before but this time the venue was sold out. In 2006, lead singer, Nicholas Petricca, created Walk The Moon, deriving their name from the Police’s song “Walking on the Moon.” In 2011, the band added Eli Maiman, completing their current roster. They went on to write chart topping singles such as “Shut Up and Dance,” “Kamikaze,” and “One Foot.” They also contributed to the new Ghostbusters movie with a rendition of the beloved title track.
