California Rock band, The Beach Boys, performed at the Long Beach Terrace Theater during their Sounds of Summer tour. The group performed a collection of their classic hit tracks. Patrons arrived in the early evening of the show to enjoy the outdoor courtyard experience at the theater. They enjoyed food booths, drinks, and entertainment while nestled in the downtown views of Long Beach. The bells chimed to notify the guests that the show was about to begin, they walked towards the venue and to their assigned seats. The concert began with a video montage of the Beach Boys featuring live tour clips, television appearances, and more!

The Beach Boys kicked off the show with Surf themed tracks such as, ‘Surfin’ Safari, Catch a Wave,’ ‘Surfin’ U.S.A.’, ‘Surfer Girl,’ and more! The audience stood, clapped, and sang along to their favorite songs. The group performed a lengthy set of songs from their early discography. The group adjourned at the end of their set. Lead singer, Mike Love, informed the audience that the show was comprised of Phase 1 and Phase 2 live song performances. The audience returned to the lobby and stood in line to purchase Beach Boys merchandise and grab a refreshment. The bells alarmed to announce the upcoming performance and the audience returned to their seats.

Actor, John Stamos is currently on tour with the Beach Boys. He performed instrumentals and sang along on various songs with the group. Stamos alternated from performing on the drums and guitars during song performances. Also, he sang his song, ‘Forever’, which was featured on the television show, ‘Full House,’ which he portrayed the character, ‘Uncle Jesse.’ The show also featured guest appearances by Mike Love’s daughter and son who sang on songs with the Beach Boys.

The audience were ecstatic and engaged during the Beach Boys’ fun and dynamic live performance. Concertgoers enjoyed the groups’ performances of deep cuts and classic hit tracks. During the event, The Beach Boys celebrated the remembrance of founding member, Brian Wilson. They displayed a video montage of clips featuring Brian Wilson while performing a song written by Mike Love titled, ‘Brian’s Back.’ It was a night to remember filled with Classic Rock performances set in a majestic theater in downtown Long Beach.
