The Glitch Mob and Elohim hit New Orleans’s Joy Theater on their 2018 World Tour

Hard-hitting yet so fittingly fluid, The Glitch Mob’s unique sound is so great both recorded and live. The release of “See Without Eyes” comes four years after their sophomore album “Love Death Immortality” and without a doubt has some of their most sophisticated production work yet.

Accompanying The Glitch Mob on this leg of their tour was L.A. based artist Elohim, and just for their June 13th New Orleans show, local DJs Jetlag Girl. Elohim’s synth-pop sound was enjoyable to dance to and even more so to listen to, while still creating an intense and enigmatic atmosphere about the venue. Her mysterious persona was entertaining, and interesting, to watch perform.

Designed by legendary Martin Phillips, The Glitch Mob’s live stage production was beyond cool, and was their best to date. Creative, tactical, and immersive, the custom controllers TGM used on stage were made to be able to show the audience what they were playing, as they were playing it. The synergy of members Edward ‘ediT’ Ma, Justin ‘Boreta’ Boreta, and Josh ‘Ooah’ Mayer was on display and expertly executed in their live performance. The Glitch Mob has consistently put on above par live performances since their early days and definitely won’t disappoint on this year’s tour.
