Miami Art Week

Events

Miami has exploded into a well-known destination that attracts some of the top artists in the world. From sophisticated Art Basel for the cultural connoisseur, to graffiti-clad Wynwood for the emerging muralists, Miami has something for everyone.

It’s also the time of year when Miami’s own museums and galleries present their most compelling work. "It's the quintessential place to show," says Robert Fontaine, director of the Robert Fontaine Gallery in Wynwood. "It's a spotlight on the newest of the new. These artists are producing the best works of their career to show at the world's fair of fine art.”

Sip the Sunshine - All Florida Craft Beer Festival

Tickets: 25-250

Suncoast Festivals has announced their new event,
Sip the Sunshine All-Florida Craft Beer Festival benefiting the University of South Florida Sarasota Manatee’s College of Hospitality and Tourism on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, in Sarasota, FL.

Sip the Sunshine is the premier All-Florida Craft Beer Festival showcasing the talents of Florida’s award-winning established breweries and those younger breweries you may not have heard of yet. This event is like no other the suncoast has ever seen, with 50 Florida Craft Breweries in attendance serving over 100 beers! We have also secured the area’s top chefs and ...caterers to create Florida-inspired cuisine for all attendees.
While guests are enjoying the best craft beer from the state, we are also giving the Florida Craft beer community reason to celebrate for years to come. A portion of the proceeds will be to the Food and Beverage Science Program at the University of South Florida Sarasota/Manatee’s College of Hospitality and Tourism. This program will help train the next generation of Florida Brewers. The only way to continue the explosive growth Florida has seen in its craft beer community is to support the passion inside those beer enthusiasts that want to take the next step. The school’s dedication to the future of Florida craft beer is worth supporting.

Timeline:

1pm - 5-course beer pairing luncheon, VIP tickets only

Wynwood Brewing 3rd Year Anniversary

WYNWOOD BREWING COMPANY HAS RESCHEDULED THEIR THREE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY

Miami, Fla., August, 2016 / -- Wynwood Brewing Company (WBCo.) has been looking forward to celebrating its third-year anniversary block party on Saturday, August 20 for quite some time. In light of what’s happening in the neighborhood regarding Zika, they have unanimously decided to reschedule their celebration. There’s too much uncertainty at this early stage of development, and WBCo. felt the need to put people’s safety first. They have rescheduled their event for Saturday, December 10, 2016.
“The CDC and our government have done a great job at keeping us informed. They are taking the necessary precautions to eradicate this problem, so that we can continue to have a neighborhood that’s bustling with people and culture,” said Luis G. Brignoni, co- founder at Wynwood Brewing. As per Wynwood BID, people are encouraged to know the do’s and don’ts regarding protection, and WBCo. supports this effort. In the meantime, it will remain open for business.
